A team of IPE students developed a digital compass for the IP Plane in the 2020/2021 winter semester as part of the Integrative Project. Within one semester, a functional device with an illuminated display including a housing was developed and manufactured from scratch. The compass shows the current orientation including pitch and roll angles. The orientation angle is even represented graphically by a disk segment. Francisco Javier Castro Rodriguez, Timon Großkopf and Saul Ortiz Izquierdo Arellano have shown that projects with great user benefits are possible in our degree program even in times of corona.
